QuestScribe ("we") runs the QuestScribe story game on the web and in the Google Play app. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email address and a hashed password (guests get an anonymous account).
• Game content: characters, adventures, the actions you type, co-op party chat messages and reports you file.
• Purchase records: what you bought and when. Card details are handled by Stripe and Google Play purchases by Google and RevenueCat; we never see your full card number.
• Usage counts such as characters typed per week.

How we use it

• To run the game, save your progress and let co-op friends play together.
• Your actions and adventure details are sent to an AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate narration and scene illustrations.
• To process payments, prevent abuse and review reported chat messages.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers above (hosting, AI generation, Stripe, Google Play, RevenueCat) to operate the app. We do not sell personal data or show third-party ads.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all adventures any time from Account settings in the app. Basic purchase records may be kept as long as tax law requires.

Children

QuestScribe is intended for players aged 17 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

Sessions use secure httpOnly cookies and passwords are hashed. No system is perfectly secure; contact us if you suspect a problem.
